Halton Data Center isn't a franchise, a reseller, or a subsidiary of a foreign company. It's a Canadian-owned facility that has been keeping businesses online since 2003 — and since 2012, the owner is one of the engineers who answers the phone.
A data center built by engineers, not investors
Halton Data Center started in 2003 when a team of engineers needed reliable infrastructure for their own services. Instead of renting space from someone else, they built their own facility at 8250 Lawson Road in Milton, Ontario — and then opened it to businesses that needed the same level of care.
In 2012, Antoine Boucher bought the company. He didn't buy it to flip it or fold it into something bigger — he bought it to run it. He's still here, and so is the standard: own the building, know every client by name, and never let a call go to a queue.
More than twenty years later, the same philosophy drives everything we do: own the building, maintain the equipment ourselves, and treat every client's infrastructure like it's our own. When you call us, you're talking to the people who maintain the power systems, service the cooling, and run the network.
We're very good at this for a simple reason: we love it. This is the kind of team that debates airflow over lunch and tests a storage layer for months before trusting it — because to us, this isn't a facility we manage. It's the thing we build.
